Mirror sites and alternative addresses
A mirror site is a copy of the same casino running at a different address. Searches such as "Urho mirror" are common, which is why this page exists. We do not, however, publish a list of alternative addresses, and below we explain why.
Why mirrors exist
In some countries authorities block access to gambling sites that are not licensed there, for example at the level of internet service providers. Mirror addresses are one of the ways such blocks are sidestepped. A block is a decision by an authority in your country, and getting around it is not something we help with. If a site is blocked where you live, that is a signal to find out why, not a technical problem to solve. Helping people bypass such measures can itself count as promoting gambling unlawfully in some jurisdictions.
Why mirror addresses are risky
- You do not know who runs the page. A design is easy to copy; the company, the licence and the responsibility behind it are not.
- Your login can end up with the wrong people. Counterfeit login pages collect usernames and passwords.
- Payments can disappear. A deposit made on a fake page is not a deposit with the casino and may never be recovered.
- Disputes become almost impossible. If you cannot show who you made the contract with, there is no one to complain to.
How to recognise the right address
- Type the address yourself or use a bookmark you saved earlier.
- Check the address bar letter by letter; fakes often add a letter, a hyphen or a different ending.
- Compare the company and licence details in the footer with what you saw before.
- Do not open casino links from messages, social media or unexpected emails.
- If you suspect a fake, do not log in. Contact the operator's customer service through the address you know.
When a site will not open
If a familiar address does not load, the cause is usually mundane: maintenance, your connection or the browser cache. Wait a while, try another browser and check the address. If a site has gone offline permanently, find out why before you move money to any new address that claims to replace it.
If you have already entered details
If you think you typed your login or card details into a counterfeit page, change your password on the genuine site straight away, along with any other service where you used the same password. If you entered card details or banking credentials, contact your bank immediately. Keep the fake page's address and screenshots in case you report it to the police. General contact routes are on the support page, and the risks of phone apps are on the page apps and browser play.
